If you have kids in school, you will know what spirit week is, there is a theme for everyday The kids love it. Both Samantha and Cason have spirit week this week. They have had pajama day, superhero day, sports day, and mismatched day. Here is Cason as Elvisman...
Cason wore this great outfit to school, come to find out you aren't allowed to wear any of it but the cape. Funny rules. No hats, no masks, no gloves, and absolutely no clothes on the outside of other clothes, (not even real shorts). Poor kid was left only with the cape. You know, soon capes will be banned too. I heard it on the Incredibles "No capes". He is such a funny kid.

i love the shorts on the outside of the clothes! they look like the little speedo thingy's all superheros wear! too bad he couldn't keep them on!

Our Spirit Week is lame here. I think they have a hat day and maybe a blue and gold day.
Spirit week is so fun. And it's even funner (er, more fun) when you have awesome kids who go all out. And you have adorable cowgirls, too!
I think Samantha actually looks gorgeous in that photo. I love that your kids dressed up and made the most of the week. I agree though, weird rules.
Samantha looks like Punky Brewster! Remember her??? So, I really don't get the rules for the costumes.....were they afraid that somebody was going to take Casen by his shorts and hang him on a pole or something??? Errol Hassell has some weird rules to....no touching nature. If the kids touch a bark chip they have to sit out or if they pick up snow they are sent to the principles office. No pinching on St. Paddy's day. No costumes at halloween. What is this world coming to?? I love that your kids dressed up with gusto!

How funny to encourage dress-up spirit days that are essentially not allowed on campus. The school system is so weird! But, your kids are so cute!
